It is time for me to pass the torch! I would like to thank Mrs. Sloma for passing it to me and to all of you for your kind words.
There are so many of you that deserve this honor but one person keeps coming to mind. This person works with some of our most vulnerable students at East. I have the opportunity to see her in action while I take the minutes at CSE meetings, and I can see how she truly cares for our students.
She gives them hope and teaches them skills to help them deal with the stress in their lives. She is also the co-advisor of the Sources of Strength program, has filled thousands of paint balloons, and does all this wearing killer high heels!
I am pleased to pass the torch to…Mrs. Kasprzak!
