Warzone was my lockdown game. Funnily enough, they both started around the same time. Activision's big Call of Duty battle royale launched on 10th March 2020 and was an immediate hit. Warzone popularity exploded. A year later, and we're still in lockdown. And Warzone is increasingly popular. It topped 85 million players by the end of 2020. I mean, just look at what its updates do to download traffic in the UK. But Warzone is more than just a mega-popular battle royale. It's changed Call of Duty forever - and dragged the series kicking and screaming back into the big time.

So how good is the movie, exactly, when the accolades are more relevant than the actual plot? And, if I daresay, how exactly did it win so many awards?

Taylor Swift released her new album, Midnights, on Friday, October 21st. A few days after the album was released, she released 7 new songs, which she called the “3 AM tracks.” She combined her original 13 songs and her 7 new ones to make an album called Midnights (3 AM edition). Inspired by her outspoken new friend Lucy (Alycia Pascual-Pena) and her mom, Vivan decides to publish an anonymous pamphlet about sexism and toxic masculinity at her school. Moxie follows the ups and downs of Vivian’s newfound confidence and movement: her relationships, her strength, and her action.

In this new, thrilling drama series, Kate Wallis (Olivia Holt), a popular highschooler, is kidnapped in the summer of 1993. Shortly after Kate went missing, Jeanette Turner (Chiara Aurelia) almost inserted herself into Kate’s place.

Mastodon’s latest work, the richly unconventional Medium Rarities, was released on September 11th. This diverse compilation album includes covers, instrumentals, and live versions, showcasing the sludge metal band’s versatility. The sixteen tracks are arranged in such a way that each song is distinctly different from those following and preceding them, causing the album to be endlessly interesting. Mastodon formed in Atlanta in 2000 and consists of guitarists Brent Hinds and Bill Kelliher, bassist/vocalist Troy Sanders, and drummer/vocalist Brann Dailor.

On March 14th, 15th, and 16th, Williamsville North High School performed the musical Legally Blonde to resounding success.
