Meet Mr. Capozzi, a spectacular tech teacher, avid outdoorsman, and man of many skills and talents.

Mrs. Ieda has been a part of the music department at East for five years, and this year, she has completely taken over teaching the Symphonic and Philharmonic orchestras.

He is now known as Luke Fitzsimmons, workaholic, husband, father of three girls, grandpa to one, and uncle to many. Although that story happened over 40 years ago, it is still fresh in his mind, easy to recall and look back on, and has shaped his entire life.

Ms. Aroune teaches music classes at East, and she makes learning enjoyable for everyone.

The founder of East High MSA (Muslim student association) and officer of Unicef, Nour Touti, was born and raised right outside the city of Chicago, in a small town called Potage Park.

While his story might start and end in Williamsville, Mr. Lanighan hasn’t always been on the path to end up where he is today. 

When sitting in Mrs. Bean’s classes, you can hear her use the ways her mom taught her classes, in the ways Mrs. Bean teaches now. For example, in the imperfect subjunctive tense, Mrs. Bean does a silly cheerleading dance as a way for us to remember the verb endings, which is the same thing her mom did when she taught the imperfect subjunctive. 

This student, Ethan Xie, is a junior here at East and has a fascination with the card game of bridge and even represented the United States under 16 team.

The East Girls Swim Team started off the season with a new addition to the team: Coach Lindsay.
