Christmas Break is coming up and you might get bored. So while on break, here are some shows on Netflix that you might want to indulge in. Just as a disclaimer, these shows are in no particular order, and I recommend you watch all of them.

Manifest

Manifest is a sci-fi and mystery thriller that has three full seasons and half of a season up. This show is personally one of the best ones on this list, in my opinion. Flight 828 departed Montego Bay, Jamaica on April 7, 2013, carrying a total of 191 passengers and crew and landed in New York, New York on November 4, 2018, but for the people on the plane it felt like a regular flight. What happened to those five years is a mystery for all to solve. If you like a good mystery to solve, mixed in with the supernatural, then this is for you.

The Blacklist

The Blacklist is a crime thriller that has nine seasons so far. This show is not exactly for the faint-hearted, as at times it does get quite graphic. However, it is well worth it to watch. An internationally wanted criminal shows up at the FBI’s doorstep and hands himself over to them. He says that his intent is only to help catch criminals that even the FBI has never heard of, but his real intentions are only known to himself.

Avatar: The Last Airbender

Now let’s get something straight, if you haven’t watched Avatar, then what are you doing with your life? It’s by far the best animated show in existence, both for first time watchers and people who have already watched it. If you think that you shouldn’t watch Avatar just because it’s animated, then stop reading the list. Just stop. It is the best show on here and has three seasons. The Airbenders have been extinct for the past 100 years, but then discovered frozen in ice is not only the last airbender, but also the Avatar. He must fight to save all four nations and end the Great War. All I ask is that you watch it for a little, and if it isn’t for you then I can’t argue.

Forged in Fire

Now, if you don’t like blacksmithing or you don’t care about it, then this show might not be for you. In Forged in Fire, blacksmiths from all over the country compete to win a grand prize of $10,000. During each round, either the contestants will be given a weapon to make or get to pick their own. That weapon is then put to the test against multiple items to test its durability and deadliness. This show has nine seasons, but it might feel repetitive after a while.

The Imperfects

The final show that I will be recommending is The Imperfects. In this show, people who have a rare genetic disorder get prescription pills from their doctor. However, what the patients didn’t know is that a rare genetic disorder was inserted into their DNA, and they were part of a research project for a mad scientist. Those genetic disorders aren’t exactly like having two different eye colors, but rather, turning into a monster. This show is a sci-fi action show that I would watch. It is short with only ten episodes.
