Elections may not seem to be coming anytime soon for the citizens of the United States, but candidates have already begun working out their campaigns for the elections. Of course the citizens are very excited to see who the new candidates the Democrats and Republicans will be putting forth. Rumor has it that even Sarah Palin may be running in the election of 2016 to annoy the “haters”.

Sarah Palin, former vice presidential candidate in 2011, has stated that she will “hopefully” run for office in 2016. Fox Business Network has questioned Palin on whether or not this was directed toward the critics that pushed her out of the political life. Yet, the former Alaskan governor says that the negative comments only “invigorates me, it wants me to get out there and defend the innocent… to work so hard for justice in this country.” With this she says she hopes to get her voice out there, in the largest way by running for president. With these statements of running for office she has not only brought herself back into the media but has shown that she will not back down even with the knowledge that her public image has been completely tarnished. Whether or not it is to really get her voice on the issues in America out there or to annoy the “haters” no one knows.

Yet, the Democrats have been opening their arms to the rumor that Palin may be running. They have come to constantly mock her “irrelevancy”in the past few years after the last presidential elections. Yet the Democrats have not been the only party questioning Palin’s statement of running for office. Many Republicans have also become wary of Palin’s nomination showing that even if Palin was to enter the election her own party may not come through. Palin may be trying to blow off the “haters” but her image created in 2011 after running for vice president has left the public unable to take Palin seriously. Many seem to think that Palin was only toying with the presidential elections in 2011, and think that if Palin runs in 2016, let alone for President, she will be unable to give the Republican Party a fair shot in voicing their campaign.

Voters may have to wait to hear Palin and the Republican Party’s final say on their candidate for the election of 2016, but voters do know that Palin is certainly an option. She has publicly stated her views on the issue of her past public image and is ready to leave it behind in order to create a new one. A new image that will not only provide justice to the people of our country but get her voice heard. Yet, is the public ready, or willing, to let Palin prove herself worthy of office.
