FBLA State Leadership Conference is a Success

Spring break is rapidly approaching, and at this point, most students have their eyes on the prize of no school on March 29th. There are many events happening at East before then, though! To help pass the time, we will be briefly covering a handful of them.
Mamma Mia, Here We Go into Musical Season!
It’s that time of the year again — get ready for the East Drama Club’s performance of Mamma Mia! at 7 P.M. on March 7-9th, in addition to a matinee performance at 2 P.M. on March 9th. Tickets are on sale right now on Ticket Peak for $13.00, and they will also be sold at the door for $15.00 at every showing. Also, there will be an in-school assembly on Wednesday, March 6th.

February 14, 2024 is not just a day for romance and valentines. It is the day of the Williamsville East High School annual cultural arts performance brought by the Unity in Diversity Club! The club has been working hard from the beginning of the school year to create, practice, and put together various dances and acts from a wide range of cultures.Â

Everybody at East has seen Mrs. DeSantis before, whether it be in the Main Office, or perhaps at the assemblies at the start of the year, or perhaps just in the hall or the Commons. But, how many of us students really know our wonderful Assistant Principal? As Mrs. DeSantis is retiring, we at the ESN want everybody at East to get to know her a little better and send her off with fondness and happy wishes!

As the winter chill settles in, Williamsville East High School (WEHS) is set to ignite the spirit of competition with an exciting lineup of winter sports. From the thrilling basketball courts to the grace of the ice rink, our teams are ready to make waves, leaving a mark on the season.
Music in a Whirlwind for Winterfest XLIX
As the holiday season progresses, East’s music department has been getting busy preparing for Winterfest XLIX! This year, our iconic winter concert will take place on Wednesday, December 20th, at 7pm, in addition to two assemblies the day prior for Transit Middle at 9:20 and East High at 1:15, during 8th period. Despite the shortened program this year, our ensembles and small groups are all working hard to make this Winterfest the best it can be.
