Don’t Have FOMO About HOCO: A Week to Celebrate
September 27th through October 2nd, homecoming returns to Williamsville East at long last! After the celebration’s cancellation last year, the Student Council, class offices, and administration have organized a week full of fun activities and school spirit to kick off the year.Â

The Williamsville East music department looks much different now than it did a year ago, having undergone a multi-million dollar renovation and the retirement of both band directors. While Ms. DeGolia and Dr. Shewan are missed, the newly appointed conductors have brought their own unique energy to the stage, combining a comfortable tone with engaging lessons to create an excellent learning environment. Meet Mr. Lanighan and Mr. McCluskey.
East Girls Soccer Embody Change
The East Varsity Soccer team has been a force to reckon with. No matter what they are faced with, they don’t let that take the game they love away from them. Coming off of a season of Covid and all of its precautions, the girls started their 2021 season without a coach. Though recently many changes have been big, the team also goes through some small changes. Whether it’s losing the seniors or players coming up, the team adapts for those players and improves together.Â
