While the DOW Jones and nearly every company might be taking hits right now, one new company that recently established itself has been making huge gains: RussiaCo.
RussiaCo is a company founded late last year under the table that is involved in the industry of buying and selling politicians. Just this week, RussiaCo made a massive profit with their sale of Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV), gaining a net profit of $42 million off the sale.
The company recently made a risky investment: after two years of negotiation, they purchased Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) for $75 million, but it is unknown if this investment will pay off.
However, the company has also had its fair share of failures. For example, their investment of $14 million in Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) declined in value until they eventually pulled out their investment for just $3 million.
Of course, if you are interested in a politician, the site allows you to buy from them! Mayors of small towns (less than 50,000 people) and congresspeople in competitive house districts can be bought for anywhere between $500,000-$1,000,000. Grade A politicians such as high-ranking presidential cabinet members cost at least $40 million.
RussiaCo CEO Vladamir Patin now sits comfortably as the third wealthiest person in the world with a net worth of $84 billion from the rise of his company.
