The Williamsville East Girls Swim Team celebrated their final victory as a full team against Williamsville South in their last dual meet of the season on October 10, carrying the team to an undefeated season.
FBLA’s Fall District Meeting
District 12 of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) recently held its Fall District Meeting at Williamsville East High School on October 15, 2023. This event marked the first conference of the year, bringing together FBLA members from throughout the district for a day filled with helpful and exciting workshops and sessions. It was an excellent opportunity for members to connect, learn, and take their involvement in FBLA to the next level.
Cross Country Season Passes the Finish Line
Last Tuesday, the Varsity Boys Cross Country team wrapped up their regular season with a league meet win against Sweet Home; for many of the seniors, it was a bittersweet experience. Reflecting on the experience, seniors Dan Costello and Brady Miller agreed that it was “painful”. Cross-country tends to do that. Overall, though, the team agreed that it was a great season.
Mrs. Putzer: East’s Favorite Math Teacher
A familiar face to many in the math department, she’s always willing to go the extra mile for any student. Mrs. Putzer teaches classes like geometry and calculus, and has been teaching math classes at East for several years.
Wendy And Peter Pan: Ready For Takeoff
With the end of the fall sports season, the first show of the year is just around the corner! To start off November with a bang, Drama Club will be hosting members and their families at East for their production of Wendy and Peter Pan. Both our Drama Club and Stage Crew have been diligently working in their rehearsals and on the sets and logistics to ensure that the first play of the year is a success!
