As we kick off the new school year, FBLA is excited to welcome new members to join us on an exciting journey filled with growth, learning, and unforgettable experiences.

Summer has come and gone in the blink of an eye, and we’re back to classes, homework, studying, and tests. It may seem intimidating, but here are some tips for helping you stay on top of it if you want to excel this year, coming from a senior who has had a pretty sweet academic track record.

The atmosphere was electric at Williamsville East High School's football field on Friday night as the Flames triumphed in their season-opening home game against the Starpoint Spartans. In a stunning display of skill and determination, the Flames secured a 28-6 victory, igniting the crowd's spirit and setting the stage for an exciting season ahead.

After the arrival of the amazing Mrs. Weber, the library is changing inside and out. With all the new displays and decorations stealing our attention, a new addition is going unnoticed: the guessing jar.

Thanks to funding from the district and the $20,000 that the school store raised last year, East was renovated inside and out over this last summer. From new staff to new rooms, icons to memories, or just basic upgrades, the environment of this school has been completely transformed–for better or for worse. 

It is time to pass the torch. Thank you to Mrs. Greenway for the honor of passing it to me. Williamsville East will always be in my heart. I am passing the torch to Mr. Harnick.

It seems that at East, there has been a recent chess revolution. Chess is a common board game, and students have been found playing in the library, online, commons--everywhere!

Where do I even begin? The phenomenal choreography? The stunning costumes, lighting and set? The unparalleled talent of Sammi O’Connor, Ayden Weinstein, and Miles Seifert? The ensemble who brought the finishing touches of this performance? Anastasia was a rollercoaster and a dream, and the actors who brought the show to life were sensational.

With many projects ahead, the physics club is looking for new members to join. The club’s main focus is to address any physics questions or doubts students may have. It’s also a good place to come and brainstorm ideas about possible projects with other club members.
