Meet Arya Pindiprolu

Hi, I’m Arya Pindiprolu, the managing editor for the east side newspaper. I’m currently a senior, and I’ve been in the newspaper club since I was a sophomore. I was the east section editor last year, and this year I have gotten the opportunity to co-lead with the editor- in- chief during newspaper club meetings. As managing editor, I put the paper together in Publisher, along with writing articles for the paper. I enjoy all of our coffeehouses, and of course the weekly bagels. Outside from the newspaper club, I’m mostly involved with music. I’m currently president of the Symphonic Orchestra and I’ve been a member of the pit orchestra since I was a freshman. I’m also an avid Suzuki student as I’m a member of the Buffalo Suzuki Strings Advanced Ensemble (an extracurricular chamber music group), assist with Saturday music classes, and teach students. I have also been leading volunteer concerts at nursing homes around our community. I have enjoyed interviewing students and staff for my articles, such as “Guess Who’s Back?: The Klein Turkey”. My favorite part about newspaper club is that it provides a forum for students, such as myself, to express our opinions about what is happening around us, whether it be at Will East or on a larger scale, along with keeping us updated on current events.
