Deebo Samuel is one of the best athletic players in the NFL. This man is by far one of the best stories in the NFL. He is on the San Francisco 49ers and he is one of the best players in the league. He plays Wide Receiver and running back. He went to South Carolina and was great there. In his senior year he had 882 yards receiving and that was enough to convince the 49ers he was their guy.

Samuel was taken in the second round and he was great every year in the league. He broke out this year with 1,405 receiving yards and he still ran for 365 yards on the ground which is unheard of for a receiver. He was able to lead his team to the NFC championship but they fell to the superbowl champion LA Rams. He has played in the league for 3 seasons and has been a great player for a great team who made it to the super bowl in his rookie season. He is probably rising into the top 5 wide receivers in the NFL and right now is at least top 10.

Samuel right now is due for one of the biggest contract extensions in NFL history. Samuel was an amazing athlete to begin with he ran a 4.48 which is very impressive. He hasn’t disappointed at all and this year he played 16 out of 18 games and he had 4 one hundred plus yard games receiving he also had 14 games where he had at least 50 yards receiving these are great numbers for a dude whose QB doesn’t throw the ball more than like 30 times a game and Deebo actually only receives about 5 times a game. His reception to yardage ratio is very good and he makes the most out of every catch.

The 49ers are changing QBs next season and are hoping that Trey Lance is the answer, but if he isn’t, Samuel will need to sit through a very bad season which could lead to a trade demand.

Trading Deebo is actually a very realistic thing right now if they can’t re-sign him since he is worth more than one first round pick. Deebo is a generational talent and he will be an amazing player in the future.
