Marvel Studios is back at it again, this time with a television series: WandaVision, Marvel’s newest release is now on Disney+. The series already has four episodes out on the streaming platform, and a new episode is released every Friday. The series features Wanda Maximoff and Vision, from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, living in a suburban neighborhood. Wanda and Vision learn to adjust to the suburban lifestyle, but as they do so, they feel as if something is out of place.

Marvel’s choice to release WandaVision on Disney+, with a 2 episode premier and the rest of the season coming out one episode a week, is definitely an interesting choice. Disney+ is Disney Studios’ streaming site, but they chose to release the episodes in a traditional television fashion. This prevents viewers from binge watching the whole series at once, but it allows viewers to watch an episode every weekend.

Starring Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda and Paul Bettany as Vision, WandaVision takes an unusual form for a superhero series. It acts as a sitcom, but still maintains all of the Marvel mystery and thrill that fans have come to expect. I recommend the series for any Marvel fans. There are a couple of scenes that get a little freaky, so just keep that in mind for any younger viewers.
