The Amazing Spider Man 2 Review

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 came out on Friday, May 2nd. I’ve talked to several people who were anxious to see the action filled, romantic movie. The first movie, based on the Marvel Comics super hero character, was released in the summer of 2012. Some people were excited that new Spider-man movies were coming out, others were disappointed by the fact that they weren’t the same as the originals that came out in 2002.

The movie consisted of the main characters Peter Parker/Spider-Man(Andrew Garfield), his girlfriend Gwen Stacy(Emma Stone), and the villans Electro/Max Dillion(Jamie Foxx), Harry Osborne(Dane DeHaan), and others that were introduced at the end. there is not just one villan in this eventful movie. Each villan comes right after another. Aside from Peter Parker dealing with all the bad guys, he also has some problems of his own. Not only does he spend time solving the problems of New York City, but he also tries his hardest to make time for his girlfriend Gwen Stacy. The last thing he wants is his true love getting hurt or killed in one of his battles. Through out the movie they were indecisive about whether or not being together would make things better or worse.

The fact that the new ‘amazing’ spider-man movies are not exactly like the originals tend to bother some people, yet others love the idea, perhaps because it makes them less redundant.

It’s hard to say if they like the old actors better, or the old characters themselves. In the originals, Peter Parker dated a girl named Mary Jane. Other than that, most of the characters remain the same, but the actors who play those characters have changed. Since Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are dating in real life, some people are anxious to see how the characters act in the film.

Since the film has just came out recently, you have plenty of time to see the high rated, romantic, action packed movie. This is most definitely a movie you will not be falling asleep during, especially if you see it in 3D. If you are a fan of the originals, the first one to the sequel, or just superheroes in general, then I highly recommend it.
