The third annual prospects challenge just wrapped up at the Harbor Center on September 10th. And there’s one topic every Sabres fan is wondering. Who is going to make the actual roster?
Brenden Guhle and C.J. Smith are two great standouts from camp. Guhle got a total of 6 points in 3 games and Smith tallied 2 goals and 3 assists. Smith’s name isn’t mentioned enough in the conversation when fans are talking about potential players who will get on the roster. He didn’t out of place whatsoever in his short stint with the Sabres at the end of the season. Guhle was by far the most impressive Sabres prospect at this tournament. He showed potential to be solid player on the blue line for the Sabres.
Fans invision Guhle making the team out of camp, if Victor Antipin is terrible in training camp and goes back to Russia.
