Hi! My name is Edward Baillargeon, I’m a film critic and editor of the Entertainment section of the newspaper. I was born on June 5, 2001, in Armada, Michigan, moved to Fayetteville, Georgia in 2009, and have lived in East Amherst, New York since December 2010. I’ve always had a passion for film and animation since I was a child and love going to the cinema and sharing my thoughts on a movie I just saw. I live with my mom Beverly, a chef, my dad Robert, a software engineer, my younger brother Philip, a writer of the National section, and my three cats Berlioz, Yuki, and Jiji. Before I arrived at Williamsville East High School, I hosted his own TV show on the video announcements at Transit Middle School called Technology Corner, a show talking about what was new in technology, which was highly praised by my classmates. I hosted the show for 2 seasons before I graduated in June 2015. My favorite movies include Star Wars, Back to the Future, Inside Out, Kubo and the Two Strings, The Lego Movie, How to Train Your Dragon, Only Yesterday, WALL•E, and Up. My favorite TV shows include Avatar: The Last Airbender, Family Guy, South Park, A Series of Unfortunate Events, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (which means yes, I’m a brony), and Seinfeld. I like working with a clear schedule and hate being the one guy who has to do everything on assignments.
