Do you have an interest in becoming a doctor, nurse, or other positions in the medical field? Consider joining the Medical Outreach Club!

Meetings range from one to two times a month. Medical Outreach allows students to discuss their interests in medicine, learn more about what it takes to branch into it, and get answers to any questions they may have.

The club also invites professionals in the medical field to come in and confer with students. They delve into their personal journeys: from highschool, to undergraduate, post grad, and their current positions. Members have the opportunity to meet with a variety of positions, such as nurses, doctors, researchers, and more.

If you are not sure whether the medical field is right for you, Medical Outreach can help address some concerns you may have, or show unconsidered paths you may take.

They  welcome everyone and hope to foster an environment where people can grow together!

In addition, joining Medical Outreach is a great way to take on more leadership roles, as they are still looking for officers. In order to hold a position, members will need to contribute to meetings, volunteer to help better the club, and help promote the club to the school. Officer opportunities will be discussed at the November meeting.

Medical Outreach hopes to expand its horizons by introducing a field trip to its members this year. It will include traveling to a medical facility or research lab to see the behind the scenes processes.

Meetings are held in room 223, and are always accompanied with a tasty snack! Please consider coming to the next meeting, and bringing a friend!
