Future Business Leaders of America is the world’s largest student-led, career-focused organization that helps over 200,000 high school students across the country take their business skills to the next level. With thousands of members in New York and hundreds right here at East, FBLA is excited to be putting out in-person events again. Join to connect with other members, access top-notch workshops, and build up your business profile!

During the transition back to in-person school, you might have heard from some of the Chapter Officers about this club. It’s a really awesome way to spice up your high school experience and start getting together your resume. From competing in over 70 different events to shooting for leadership positions at the state and national level, FBLA offers an extracurricular experience like no other at East.

String together your year by joining a State Council or getting involved in the Program of Work! You’ll get a chance to connect with State Officers, take on state challenges, and even win plaques and ribbons at the State Leadership Conference.

The first large event FBLA will be hosting during the 2021-2022 season will be FDM, or the Fall District Meeting. This is a wonderful opportunity to network with other students in our Western New York District 12, not just Williamsville East FBLA. Additionally, there will also be plenty of leadership workshops as well as opportunities to meet the district advisers. Forms may be found in your email inbox coming soon! We look forward to seeing you there!

The National Center is excited to roll out several new and revamped programs such as Champion Chapter and the Business Achievement Awards for the 2021-2022 membership year. Ask your chapter officers how you can contribute and gain experience. Your State and National Officers are looking forward to supporting you and your membership in any way possible – if you have questions or need guidance, be sure to reach out through email or social media.

No matter where you start, FBLA can help you build your public speaking and leadership skills, and gives you the chance to be involved on the national stage. Take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way, and you can develop into a professional business leader! You can create some of the most invaluable memories throughout high school with your friends at FBLA’s National Conferences. This year’s conference will be in Chicago, so don’t miss out and be sure to get involved!
