Last Wednesday, September 16th, Apple released the latest version of its mobile operating system-the new iOS 9.

iOS 9 was first announced in June and holds a number of new multitasking tools, predictive features and some welcome performance improvements. Now it is formally put into use.

There are several attractive features on iOS 9 including a greater, smarter Siri, a power-saving mode as well as improving Facetime, Notes app and Maps. Moreover, the update process is easier. The new system offers user a choice to delete and reinstall apps automatically through a pop-up notification.

Also, iOS 9 makes iPad a better work tool. Slide Over lets you preview another app on the side of your screen. If you are reading a movie review in the new News app, now you can look up movie times at the same time. it can even put two apps side-by-side, allowing copy and paste in between.

iOS 9 will come by default in the next generation of iPhones—6S and 6S Plus. With pre-sales began for about 11 days, the new phones go on sale on Friday. It is clear that Apple had high expectations about the new devices and hope they will set the records.
