Twenty-four students from Williamsville East High School put Excellence In Action this summer, representing our district and New York State at the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference. Led by chapter adviser Ms. Michelle Anzalone, these students traveled to the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee to attend the largest NLC ever, with over 10,000 students and teachers from across the country present. There, students participated in in-depth workshops, general sessions, competitive events, and networked with FBLA members from around the world. We would like to congratulate all of our school’s Nationals attendees: Morgan Awner, Manogna Chintala, Michelle Dao, David Fan, Daniel Franasiak, Lisa He, Erin Jozwiak, Claire Kim, Melissa Li, Robin Marshall, Shubhangi Mehra, Alexa Muir, Aniruddha Nrusimha, Alexis Ogra, Evan Ogra, Zachary Richheimer Allison Scumaci, Keelan Sinha, Kevin Stone, Jenny Tu, Melanie Ulrich, Caroline Wang, Sarah Wie, and Amy Xiao. From this large delegation, seven students earned the chance to walk across that huge Nationals stage and get recognized in front of thousands of their peers for placing in a competitive event.
