The Biden administration approved the Willow Oil Project on March 13, sparking massive controversy over its climate impacts. This is the largest oil extraction project ever proposed in the United States, with an $8 Billion cost by oil giant ConocoPhillips. The drilling will be done on Alaska’s North Shore, which until now was the largest single expanse of untouched land in the United States.

On Thursday, March 9th, protesters took to the streets of UB, speaking out against Michael Knowles’s invitation to deliver a speech at Slee Hall that evening.

In Washington Park in Newark, New Jersey, a long standing Christopher Columbus memorial was replaced by a monument for Harriet Tubman.

After last month's trail derailment in East Palestine, another derailment occurred near Springfield, Ohio, both Norfolk Southern trains. 28 out of 212 train cars derailed, including four empty tanker cars. Eden Knight, a 23-year-old trans woman, died by suicide after being forced to detransition. In a suicide note posted to her Twitter on March 12, 2023, she revealed that her parents had hired a series of  people to manipulate her to detransition and move back to Saudi Arabia.

However, his coronation and monarchy is facing mass protests by the people in England; very few want the monarchy to continue.

Regardless of which grade you are in, it is never too early to start saving money and help the financial aspect of your future. From tuition to dorming to life expenses, college can be expensive. There are many ways to save money. Saving a little here and there will ultimately help you increase the amount of money you have saved, learn financial literacy, and reduce costs for college.
