With Halloween season upon us, we are all gearing up with our favorite horror movies. If you’re looking for something strange, fun, and unpredictable, the award-winning 2010 film Rubber, dir. Quentin Dupieux, is perfect for you. It follows the tale of a tire with the opportune combination of anger management issues, homicidal urges, and psychokinesis. Referenced in such great works as the “It’s 4” article (East Side News, issue 3), this satirical horror film has captured the hearts of (mostly) everyone who has dared to venture through.

Following the success of “Royals” in 2013, Lorde rose to stardom-level fame. But almost a decade later, she has just released a third album. Each of her albums has been significantly different from the others — Pure Heroine was about the complexity of the teenage years, while Melodrama examined what it is like to be a young adult. Terraria is a popular action-adventure sandbox game where the possibilities are endless. My favorite part of the game is socializing with the NPCs. The Guide NPC, for one, is arguably the strangest NPC in Terraria.
