Carry the Torch: Mr. Hurley

Please join me in congratulating Mr. Tom Hurley, “Librarian,” in kicking off our annual Faculty/Staff CARRY THE TORCH campaign. I put “librarian” in quotes as Tom is not your typical librarian. Even though he does were glasses, his role with students, staff and administration go well beyond the beautiful, brand new bookcases that define our library! Mr. Hurley has been instrumental in providing our students opportunities to honor our senior citizens and veterans at Amberleigh with a Veterans Day celebration, is our PTSA faculty liaison, is your union representative, counsels students who have interests/aspirations in a military future, is a retired Naval Officer and will be a welcome addition to our Wall of Fame induction class this year. Mr. Hurley, thanks for all you do.
