I want to thank Mr. Tomasello for his kindness and thoughtfulness in passing the torch to me. It is time for me to pass the torch on to a person who goes above and beyond in his duties here at East HS. He comes in early when we need help, covers the suspension room and welcome desk, supervises the cafeteria, helps clean up and move tables when they are shorthanded, does bus duty, and does after school detention. He is always willing to help when help is needed in the main office. He also assists with proctoring of sporting events. For whatever is needed to help our students, he is there, and when you thank him, he says, “It’s my pleasure; it’s my job to help.” He is always, kind, thoughtful, and caring of students and staff. It is my pleasure to pass the Torch to Mr. DePlato, a teacher aide here at East HS. Congratulations, Mr. DePlato, and thank you for all you do here at East HS!
