The Class of 2026 is selling bagels every Wednesday from 7:00 to 7:45 AM in the Commons. The bagels are being sold at one dollar each and the money will be used for any future class activities. Selling bagels in the commons was initially an idea created by Ms. Wagar, the class advisor, but the class officers “pursued the idea further,” as President Andrew Suh says. The class officers worked out the specifics of it, such as where and when the bagels would be sold.

There are many bagel flavors being sold, such as garlic, strawberry, plain, and, most importantly, the class favorite: the Everything Bagel. The Everything Bagel consists of a large variety of toppings such as sesame seeds, dried onion flakes, garlic, and salt placed on a plain bagel.

Many people bought bagels during the two weeks they have been sold so far, contributing to a total of $75, which will be able to support any future events the Class has, such as Prom and JDD. Phoenix Pham is one of the freshmen who have worked at the stand. She says, “It’s fun to work with your friends and you get to meet new people who want to buy bagels.” Another freshman named Hannah Roberts, who is a bagel enthusiast, states, “I look forward to Bagel Wednesdays every week.”

The Class of 2026 is off to a wonderful start! Support the class by buying bagels in the Commons every Wednesday from 7:00 to 7:45 AM!
