While we can’t hold our traditional events this year, the Williamsville East community is still coming together for a virtual game night hosted by East’s SIHAC group, the Class of 2021, and Student Council. Join your classmates and play Among Us on Friday, November 20 at 7:00.
Sign Ups
Students need to complete this google form by Wednesday, November 18 at midnight (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeF4o4bJt5ePSii-pVe2Vgh_MlAP502UwXU0J-i1_wkZZL4SQ/viewform?usp=sf_link). This link can also be found on the WITS home page.
What to expect
If you complete the google form from above, you will be WITSmailed the Zoom link for the event. The meeting starts at 7:00, and students will be sent into assigned breakout rooms. Rooms are arranged prior to the meeting. You will be grouped with a mix of friends you mentioned in the form and other classmates. Each room will have ten or less people. You will be playing in private games, so you will only be playing with the people in your Zoom breakout room.
If you are new to Among Us, there’s no need to worry. First, you should download the app for free on an iOS or Android device, or you can purchase the game on PC for $5 on Steam or itch.io. The game is very straightforward, and there are plenty of ways to play. You can check the many tutorials on YouTube to familiarize yourself. Among Us is very popular, so you can always ask a friend to play a quick game with you beforehand if it will make you feel more comfortable. Before you know it, you’ll be a pro!
You can reach out to Mrs. Wagar, Class of 2021 and Student Council officers, or East SIHAC members like myself if you have any questions or concerns. East, let’s be together… Among Us.
