Japan Releases Nuclear Wastewater

The Fukushima nuclear plant in Japan was approved for a plan of gradually releasing wastewater into the ocean for what is predicted to be a span of around 30 years. With the go-ahead from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Japan has had its first release of wastewater, with three more installments to go, this plan is estimated to conclude in March 2024. 

Saudi Arabian Trans Woman Dies by Suicide After Being Forced to Detransition

Eden Knight, a 23-year-old trans woman, died by suicide after being forced to detransition. In a suicide note posted to her Twitter on March 12, 2023, she revealed that her parents had hired a series of  people to manipulate her to detransition and move back to Saudi Arabia.
